that's December, smash-mouth football. when it was all on the line. listen to any of the press conferences and you'll hear Portis is pleading on the sideline for "Gut" and "Power" inside run plays. the ones that don't do wonders for your average. that's a 200some lb. back telling Gibbs to be MORE Gibbs, and executing and producing all those tough yards with the heart of a 250lb back.
if one can't see or appreciate that and everything he's done for this team this season (hint: it's much more than JUST record setting yards), than they're an overrated "Redskin fan"
