I think he took the deal because he and his family are so happy in Washington, and money was one of the only temptations that could have made him want to leave.
He will be around for the 2006 season, it just means that this time next year he's free to interview for jobs if he wants. Of course, if he does, I'll bet Dan Snyder busts out the pocketbook again. I think he wants nothing more than to keep Gregg to be his next head coach.
