I suspect Williams is going to be the guy Dyami Brown was supposed to be when we drafted him. Open when Terry is covered and vice versa.
Height is the only factor against him, and we don't have anyone higher (right now) than #3 on the roster that is taller than 6' 1". I'd say McCaffrey, Burks and maybe Brooks are going to have to separate themselves out as that red zone threat to keep a roster spot. That and Sinnott finally coming good. |
Funny you mentioned that, I was thinking that Williams looks similar to D. Brown when I watched his highlights. This seems to be a good pick, the WR group is definitely going to be interesting to see how it works out.
I personally still hold some hope for Burks to a good year this year. Burks did decent last year and that was with Mariota. I'm curious to see how Burks plays with JD.
