Re: 2026 Commanders Training Camp

I still think we need another #2 receiver.
I do expect Antonio Williams to eventually start. I mean we are only a couple of days in but his ability to create space makes him different than anyone else other than Terry.
Burks shines it tight windows like the red zone they have been practicing, that is his specialty, so that's a good sign, but what about the other 80 yards. It would just help Jayden to not have to throw into tight coverage so much.
Putting so much on Chig is limiting.

Alligretri is just a calf strain, Burks is a foot, both minor.
I am worried about the Center drop-off, not so much Burks.
Rasul Douglas is one to watch with a pick six today. I believe he is at least as good as Mikey and maybe better.
Oweh is making his presence known.
Jayden off a bit, but that could be due to being under center, plus a backup too.
It is a new role for him, so this will be good to watch. Under center, timing is critical, which is why quick separation is so key. Either that or awesome body positioning.
Frankly, its only 2 days, all short passes, so Burks should shine and Williams and the RBs. I know Bill and White made nice catches, but Bill fumbled, gotta stop that. Chig caught some, dropped some.
2 days in tells nothing other than, can a new offense score against a new defense, the answer is yes. Nicki Jaballa said in a tweet her assessment was a gif of Stefon Diggs for what it is worth.

I do feel much better about defensive speed and the late add of Rasul Douglas to CB. Id love to see a better backup/starting center and maybe a Diggs type.
No clue on safety gaps yet as its all been goal line.
Would love to see deep throws to Brown and Lane develop.
Brown did catch a toe toapper btw, so all the WR's are showing up, just minimal separation.
Frankly, no real suprises
