I didn’t see the game but it was obviously close and we had a chance to beat a division rival that everyone has picked to go deep in the playoffs in their place with a new offense and new defense. The season is hardly over. Watching the highlights it seems clear that the breakdowns on the long pass plays from Hurts were the main difference. Not sustaining drives and putting more points on the board was a problem too, but the total yardage was even and we ran more plays and had more first downs - it just didn’t translate to points.

Next week will be a test - do we roll over or take out some of today’s frustrations on another hated division rival?

We won’t be playing the Seahawks with their starting QB or the Rams with Garrett, both good breaks. Or Dallas with its starting LG (who is really good). We need to seize the advantage where we can and put the bad taste of today’s game behind us.
