My views on the game:

Defense is clearly going to be giving up some big plays this season. That appears to be the nature of their assertiveness. Philly has a veteran crew with loads of play makers but a new system. I'll be curious to see this defense against a more established offensive system.

Sonny Styles learned through the game. In first half on a rush he showed to much deference to Saquan. Second half he realized he is the bigger human and plowed him over. Love to see the learning take place.

Blough needed to make adjustments sooner. Philly would drop 7 into coverage but he would only put 3 targets out there. That isn't going to cut it. He did adjust and even began to increase frequency of Jayden into shotgun as game moved on. It's been a long time since we've had an offense willing to adapt to the game.

Jayden threw the ball away which I loved to see. This is the way.

I'm not as down on the o-line as many. They gave up pressures 50% of time but Jayden also had more time to through the ball than any other qb at 3.41 seconds. Even when accounting for heavy roll outs and broken plays they gave him 3.27 seconds which is far more than any other QB in week 1 and they did that against a Fangio defense.
