I've hung on and cogitated. I expected the O to have problems after the injury and depth shenanigans, notably C, and the 1st half had me worried. 2nd half was a different showing. Yes, play calling was too conservative especially given we really had nothing to lose by trying stuff. I'm betting Blough has been re-thinking that 2pt call the last 2 days. But there are good signs. The running game is there or thereabouts, and once they work out how to get Scary, Diggs and Williams the ball more often and maybe stretch D's, then the passing game will catch up.
D played far better than I expected, though that does not apply to Mikey. Styles looks the real deal; that bulldozing of Berkley was glorious. He just needs to keep his head screwed on, as despite the fact it was a false start (WTF are the officials looking at?), you can't abandon the play just because you think there should be a flag.
