These hits clear off the books pretty quick. If you cut a guy before June 1, he's off the books after the upcoming season. If you cut a guy after June 1, he's on the books for the upcoming season and the one after that.

Trotter is off the books as of 2006, and so is Coles. In 2006 (next year's season) we will be eating $1.6 million for Michael Barrow, $1 million for Chad Morton, and $667,000 for Darnerian McCants. Even if we cut Arrington before June 1, we'll still carry less deadcap in 2006 than we did this year.
