I'm still giving Blough and Jones a little rope as they are rookie coordinators. They're going to make some wrong calls. But that rope is getting very short and it's shortest for Quinn because he presided over that shit show Sunday.

Any time in the 4th he could have told both of them to adjust, and in Jones' case, exactly what adjustments he wanted to see. No indication he did. And then he could have been clear with JD to stop the clock no matter what, even if it meant countermanding Blough. I still think, beyond something more embarrassing, he won't be gone before seasons end. But the only way he saves his job now has to be reaching teh playoffs. Even a winning record won't cut it if it doesn't mean playoffs.
