Blue wave? Red wave? Everyone seems to think it will be a big blue wave and Dems may win in red areas this time.

I say not so fast. Dems may narrow the margin but ultimately those red areas will stay red.

I think before the rigging and post election shenanigans starts:

U.S. House- Dems do capture the House with 10-15 seat majority.

U.S. Senate- The gop who has a 54-45-1 majority, will retain control with a 50-50 tie or 51-49 majority. I think Dems definitely flip Ohio and North Carolina but fall short in other areas to get control of Senate. I think El-Sayed in Michigan doesn’t win and that seat flips to gop.

Trump and the gop will do everything to block any Dem win; so post election shenanigans will go all the way past 1/3/27, when new term starts.

I think dems shot themselves in the foot in the senate races. The Alaska and Michigan fiascos cost them and the Alaska thing is so stupid because they weren't going to flip that seat anyways.

We've been told for decades how Texas is going purple and every year the democrats fail miserably there. I don't see that changing this election.

In order for democrats to make inroads they can't afford to look dysfunctional. Swing voters are a fancy way of saying conservatives that don't like the republican candidate but if there is one minor flaw on the democratic side they will vote republican even if it is 1/1000th the corruption and dysfunction of the typical republican candidate.
