Re: Any update on Campbell?

Here's a link to the complete article on what Gibbs thinks of Campbell - it's about halfway down, first half is about Brunell.

Redskins.com: Gibbs on Campbell

It sounds encouraging. Not to read way to much into it, but it sounds to me like Gibbs has had him learning alot this past year and he might be in soon. I'd expect to see alot more of him during preseason games in the very least. Actually beating out Brunell/Ramsey for the job looks like a bit of a long shot, but who knows.

I'd love to see someone young and with alot of potential leading the team. I know Brunell did a great job this season and he offers the experience and maturity of an older player, but it always bothers me in the back of my mind that we know he's not around much longer. He's just a short-term solution.

I can't wait for the day when the Redskins return to the status of a real NFL powerhouse with CONSISTENCY at as many positions as possible. That means a franchise QB who will be with us most of his career, not shuffling someone new in every season.
