clemons couldn't stay with his assignments (tried being superman) and so he got pulled. aki barely made the roster to begin with... I didn't really like boschetti much either, not that he was horrible, but without C griff and big joe, the line stunk. If the next man up can't play well enough to go unnoticed for at least 3-4 plays then he shouldn't be taking the field. Noble i believe retired, but He and Brown (and Green) were all offered jobs in some FO/coaching capacity, so they might be back in that sense.
as for DT #2/#3, cheap options include rocky bernard or rafting tapp and moving him inside after he bulks up. triplett is also out there, but may be more expensive than the team would need for a guy that sees much more limited snap counts.
