Your right both of us are up for possible scholarships come April, even though I don't know what the college park scholars thing is about. I would HIGHLY advise finding out exactly what the scholars program is and whether or not it's right for you. When I applied to GMU, I was invited into the "Honors" program. I accepted the invitation without really looking much into it. About 1/4 way through my first semester, I found out it was a "special" set of classes (basically substitutes for GenEd classes) to force liberal BS down the students' throats. On top of that, the classes would not have transferred if I had tried to go to another school at some point. When I realized this, it was too late to drop the classes and replace them w/ something else, so I just trudged through it.
