The only thing is that restructuring benefits the player. They typically end up with more guaranteed money (which is really what matters with NFL contracts). All I have heard from Patten is that he was healthy when they cut him.... blah blah. The guy didn't do anything healthy so he may as well collect his check and support the team.

He was definately underwhelming. He didn't meet my expectations. But then again, mine were pretty high. Our passing game seemed better when he was around.
