I like the celebrations--I think they add to the excitement of the game. Also, this is what the palyers want to do. WHy shouldn't they decide, the guys who actually play the game, rather than some suits in a room?
Come on! Portis giving CPR to the football? Terry Orr mocking Deon's "2 Legit" dance with Hammer on the sideline at RFK? Why not have these things as part of the game? If players don't like it, they can score and celebrate in revenge, or they can get mean on D and smash the offender into the ground. It hypes players up.
What I don't like is wild celebrations after totally ORDINARY plays, like a CB prnacing around after defending a pass. That's too much. BUt TD celebrations are part of the game.
NFL=No fun league...
