Ravens | Only team to speak with Collins

Adam Schefter, of NFL.com, reports the Baltimore Ravens were the only team to speak with free agent QB Kerry Collins (Raiders) about playing in 2005. However, the Ravens were not offering Collins enough money to make it worth his while, which could force him into thinking retirement.

Adam Schefter, of NFL.com, reports free agent QB Kerry Collins (Raiders) is seriously considering retirement, according to people close to him. The Baltimore Ravens was the only team that spoke with Collins about playing in 2005. However, the Ravens were not offering Collins enough money to make it worth his while.

that's surprising, but I guess 20 TDs with the skill players he had is underachieving, though he was working for norv. I wonder if he'd be a backup? He's got a weak arm at times... Randy made it blatantly obvious every time he went deep.
