However, I do think the Skins have taken a step forward with their recent signings. If you think Carolina took a step forward signing Keyshawn, then maybe they have helped themselves as well. I also think that the Skins took several of the FAs that Chicago wanted and they were a final 4 team. Based on last year and our signings we should be predicted to be either 1st or second in the division and maybe even predicted to make the NFC Championship game. Beyond that is anyone's guess, but these guys theat have us taking a step back are just foolish.
Carolina signed some others that should help too, but they also lost witherspoon. Seattle hasn't seemed to draw any comparisons to us YET, but w/what Allen spent on Burleson & Peterson, not to mention Alexander, if they don't at least get to the super bowl again it will be disappointing to their fans & maybe viewed as a failure by the press. I agree, the Bears didn't do a lot but they did sign Griese, he may turn out to be their starting qb.
We should be competitive again, but a no. of NFC teams improved, watch out for Atl. Tampa Bay too. Plus our division improved, it will be tough to sweep anybody. If we win the division, we might be as good as anybody.
