yeah, the jets called them and they decided not to waste time looking for a cheaper trade partner. gibb said they would have missed him if they waited too much longer. but it still seems like the skins just lock into one player and ignore everyone else. If he goes stud or can contribute immediately isn't not a bad call. if hodge or alston have success while he flounders (which is the less likely senario) it'll be disappointing though.
