Bill Free, of the Baltimore Sun, reports New York Giants seventh-round draft pick DB Gerrick McPhearson is the fastest player in the history of the University of Maryland and may be the fastest player in the draft. The report claims McPhearson has been clocked at 4.21 in the 40-yard dash.

his combine time was 4.41, so i wonder how much merit this story has...
