This argument makes no sense to me. We don't just play the 6 games within the division, we also play 8 other games against opponents that each of the NFC East teams also has to play. That makes 14 games against common opponents, and each one is a fair measuring stick to use to compare to your division.

Division champion based on six games??? Are you guys crazy? That would render the other 10 games of the season almost meaningless. There are 12 playoff spots, 8 of which are reserved for division champs.
