you value price to production, and for their current production saying we overpaid is fairly valid. we had the space, we got the guys we wanted, but at that price point it WILL limit us more down the road. I still think our strategy allows us to spend more on paper but really get the same value to price. We can simply spend more dollars as long as the players acquired are young and productive. We do less with a dollar than other teams who contract diffrently but it allows us to have more dollars in a sense making it mostly a wash.
