unless they use as much cap space as us that's filled with better value per dollar it is a wash. danny spends, and while the eagles are fairly close in talent and way better in price/performance, they have 20-30mill left unspent each year. if they don't use that space, we can just waste deadcap and spend more on crap value contracts and end up even on the field.
the eagles' money is more evenly spread among their players, ours is extremely loaded towards starters (except for wynn and, in a lesser sense, collins). you can only put as much talent on the field as you can fit into those 22 starting players though, and better talent there gets exceeding expensive pretty quickly.
