I have this one...

it works great. has temperature control, and removeable plates. burgers, dogs, marinated chicken breasts, shrimp, veggies. I don't do steaks on them because the fat is where a steak gets all its flavor, and the whole point of the Foreman is to "knock out the fat".

never tried grilled cheese...i have a nice double burner griddle that I use instead, but i may have to give it a try.
