Against Seattle in the playoffs Brunell went to him on one of the first plays of the game and he flat out dropped it. That's not going to win you many more looks, fair or not.

The problem with Brunell is not confidance in his recievers particularly Jacobs, but Brunell wont take the hit any longer, that was the knock on him when the Jags were about to cut him, he is afraid to be hit at this stage of his career, so all he does is looks for his primary [Moss] if he's covered it's Cooley or throw it away, he wont hang in there to go to a 3rd or 4th WR. Jacobs hasen't helped himself by not being able to stay on the field but I do think he has a lot lot more to offer other than what we have seen up till now.
