I've liked the Padres since I lived in San Diego 91-94. They were the first proffesional team I'd seen play live and ever since then I've followed the team and hated every other team in the NL West except when the D-Backs beat the Yankees, lol. I like the smaller market teams and I couldn't help but root for a guy a lot like Darrel Green in Tony Gwynn. Plus its pretty fun to hear Hell's Bells come on whenever Hoffman comes in to pitch.
