I'm not totally sold on the Lakers getting the good end of this deal. I like Odom. He's very versatile. It's just a matter of him staying off the weed. Brian Grant, bless his heart he sure tries. But he's playing out of position at center. The no. 1 pick will probably be a late pick, and there are some rumors that the Lakers are looking to trade Butler before the season starts.

As for the Heat, even at less than 100% Shaq should be able to dominate in the relatively weak East. The biggest concern will be what about the team's depth.
