Has anyone who ever claimed that, "Terrell Owens makes Dallas a legitimate Super Bowl contender" ever realized that he plays wide reciever, and touches the ball 10-12 times on a great day? He could be the best wide reciever in the league, but for his signing to have more of an impact than Edge in Arizona, or Drew Brees/Daunte Culpepper makes no sense. These guys touch the ball more than 25 times a game. Owens will help, but how exactly does an upgrade over Keyshawn make Dallas a Super Bowl contender.
Yes, Dallas is probably a playoff team, but I think that has more to do with the natural progression of their young defense than the signing of Terrell Owens. But super bowl contender? C'mon.
