I remember that night too. A friend of mine who is a Cowboy fan left at halftime laughing and then telling me to make sure that I called him after they won to concede victory and proclaim that Dallas was the better team (it's a thing that we do). I sat on my couch eating chicken, drinking my last couple of MGD's when the Redskins didn't convert on 3rd and 15. My cell phone rang, it was another friend of mine who is a Cowboy fan calling me to gloat. I said to him, "I don't know. I do not know how they always find a way to lose to y'all sorry motherfuckas every time. Y'all are some shit!" I could hear the Cowboy fans screaming in the bacround at the ESPN Zone when Roy Williams was shown pumping up the crowd. Little did he know that he was the large mouth bAss that Gibbs had his eye on for the next play. Brunell stepped back to throw and as the ball left his hand my heart dropped and I said very sadly, " Oh Shit". Something happened,....... they scored. THEY FUCKING SCORED !!! My fiance was sleep at the time so I couldn't yell too loud because my black ass would have caught it ! I got off the phone but not before telling him that he'd better not bitch out and not answer his phone. Just like SkinsDallas I had a feeling that they would win this one. I craked open another MGD and fired one more up. I sat at the edge of the couch and when they scored again I grabbed a pillow off the couch and screamed my lungs out ! I couldn't believe it, they fucking did it ! When Jerry Jones walked off the field sad, I thought about how confident he must have felt when the schedule looked the way that he wanted. When he stood with Michael Irvin, Emmit Smith, and Troy Aikman and smiled. Knowing that everything was perfect, the most perfect day for America's Team. Kinda makes you wonder how the Skins are in Dallas for TO's first regular season game huh ? It was a beautiful sight that day, I went to work with alot of skins gear the next day.
