I have no particular beef with you, the 49ers, or your opinions. I reserve judgment on Lloyd. I think, however, your use of that one video clip of Lloyd is a poor and misleading one. To me, it appears that Lloyd is ducking because the ball was so poorly thrown that he thought it was intended for a different receiver.

so Lloyd made no attempt what-so-ever to catch a ball that was going to hit him in the head? Most WR's mouths water to get their hands on the ball. Also if he thought there was a WR behind than he didnt know the playbook well did he?

The sad fact is Lloyd was the 2nd best WR we had last year. We were that bad. Our best WR, Arnaz Battle, hurt his knee 1 1/2 games into the season and it bothered him throughout the year

By the way, Lloyd didn't slow down to make a highlight catch as you so claimed. The ball was slightly overthrown and he had to jump/dive to catch it.

It can look that way, but he did slow down and had no interest in the YAC, just getting a SC highlight.
