Did you like Geno's? I'm interested to hear what a Philly outsider thinks. Somehow they've become the mecca of cheesesteak places here in Philly but I think they're way overrated. The meat comes out a little too thick and chunky for my tastes. They do so much business there that I think they're getting lazy with the slicing of the meat, trying to turn out the sandwiches as fast as possible. I like it to be sliced ridiculously thin.
I'm a big fan of Delissandro's, which is on the northern side of the city. Then there's a place near my house in the suburbs which makes a great one. In fact I think I'll hit that up for dinner tonight!
