Hall is 23 for 29 in the last 3 seasons. Career 74% success rate. He's not the greatest kicker out there, but better than a lot will give him credit for.

He missed a field goal, but was put in the situation where he was bound to fail. 48 yards (he was shown hitting from 52 before the game), left hash, 22 seconds left...a play that they probably should have gone for it.

John Hall becomes the scapegoat for a game where we had the ball inside the 10 thrice, and thrice only game away with field goals. If the offense puts the ball in the end zone once of those 3 times, we are walking to a victory at that point...

Novak's a good kid, but isn't any better than Hall distance or accuracy wise. As stated before, they should have gone after one of the FAs this year, but instead felt they could trust in John Hall. So until he gets hurt again, or he misses the next 3 in a row...he's gonna be the Skins kicker, and he will make kicks down the stretch when needed.
