I agree with your props. I congratulate those players that laid it on the line during that game.
Intangibles that upset me were:
- The look of defeat on the faces of the players on the Redskins bench during the 4th quarter. They did not look like they had played hard and lost - they looked defeated.
- The player interviews at the end of the game. Some players were talking about reviewing film to find out what the matter was with their performance. Their response should have been one of taking personal responsibility for the performance rather than passing the buck to a staff review of their performance. The staff didn't execute poorly on that field ... the players did.
