That's a great point about Rock. Remember, he fumbled last season in K.C. which turned out to be the difference in the outcome of that game. It seems he's good for a critical fumble in at least one game a year. It could have devastating in Houston last week. You have to wonder how much more of that Gibbs will put up with.

Y'all need to look beyond this year. Next year, Portis' salary will be more than double to $7M+ and we will have to cut or trade him. Then TJ will be our feature back. It's the TVRB (Time Value of Running Backs).

I don't think Portis is going anywhere next year, but you could be right in as much as he'll be the likely replacement to fill Ladell Betts' role, as he will likely be gone via unrestricted free agency. All signs point to Duckett as next year's 2nd man at running back.
