well, ana lucia was supposed to be on much longer, but the actress turned out to be a royall PitA, so they dragged her out and shot her. homicide did the same thing. the problem with homicide is they kept replacing the people that left (actors and writers) with lesser talent, so the last 2 seasons were completely worthless.
