Re: LA Responds to Critizism

seeing that interview really makes me feel bad for LaVar, he truly loved the hell out of this team, and he was really hurt about how things went down.

Sucks that his limitations, physical or otherwise, got in the way but those were the cause. I think the Redskins may have been at fault in interpreting that as lack of effort, but regardless, those limitations were there and that's why he didn't get to start for Williams. Kind of a sad story, and i wish LaVar could've overcome those limits - i know the Redskins definitely gave him the chances to.

i'll still always appreciate the effort, energy and genuine affection he gave this team and the community during the nightmare of coach merry-go-round we went through before Gibbs. He would absolutely stalk that field for his prey and would amp up the whole team, he was certainly the brightest spot of our team all those years. I will always respect him for that.

i think those comments weren't too nasty considering. think he spoke them out of valid emotions he's entitled to carry. (think about it, what Lindsay and Springs said were actual attacks - and they weren't even here when the team had OBC for a coach). he also tried hard to stay here, unlike Champ.

that said, i'm actually worried about that playbook, now Williams has to deal with that fact and the sorry secondary we have. i hope Mike Sellers has his best game ever knocking out LA and AP on their asses for CP.
