I agree, if the guy is 5'8" they have to do all they can because even if he gets 2,000 yards in a game, he won't get a college scholarship because they'll say he's too small to play.
But I was thinking, their kicker seems pretty bad. Maybe they kept this RB in to give their kicker practice. (10 TDs, 64 points.)

So I can understand the "scr*w the league" mentality. Besides, who remembers if the guy who holds the national record did so in a blow-out?
