It was a legal hit, not late, not flagrant. He got jacked-up! The make-up call, when Washington was engaged in a block and hit the quarterback was a horrible call.

Yes, the ref was right there and would have thrown a flag if it were an illegal hit. It was a clean hit - clean but ugly. And unfortunately, it fired up Manning, who torched us the rest of the game.
