You know what, I think I agree with you. Although, I must say your reasoning sounds famililar. :cheeky-sm
Rogers lacks top end speed and cover skills (explaining the cushion). But he has been the league's
best tackling CB in the run game since he broke in (it's why GW took him in the top 10), and the importance of that cannot be understated. He will never be the best cover CB in the lineup, but you want him in the lineup for his run stuffing ability.
I think he needs to play smarter on third down and learn to take risks. But he will be our no. 2 corner for years to come and be good at it.
And he looked great against Philadelphia this week in man.
