Now, we had those pieces but we let them go:
MLB Pierce,
CB Smoot,
safety Ryan Clark
We could have kept all of these pieces, and could have used the draft pick that we spent on Rogers to draft the best DE available. Wow. That would have made a HUGE difference.
If only we had a competent GM / Front Office then.

. smoot could have been let go and dyson could have been signed for the same price as rogers, more or less... GW prefers tackling cbs (that's why he let smoot go and why we probably didn't sign dyson), but come on.
