I find that it's helpfull to make it clear to people when you are quoting an article or something that another person said. Often, this will deflect undue critism from you.
Providing links are often a nice way to show that you yourself had nothing to do with the production of an article, especially one that may be met with hostility here on the WP.
Another fine way to help make sure no one mistakes someone else's words for your own is to use the
