Here in the States we know throwing rocks is a chargeable offense no matter the circumstances but I wonder what is the lawful punishment in the Arab world. I only ask because isn't the practice of "stoning" still used as a punishment? Better question, if you're a soldier and someone's throwing rocks at you, what are you going to do about it? Stand there and let them do it because they believe you've broken the law???
That point makes no sense. The cultural sensitivity is great and all 724, but definitely taking it too far. There was no stoning taking place there. They hurled rocks because either A) they hate the occupying soldiers or B) they were just being punk kids. Either way, you can't throw rocks and not expect a beating, I don't care what culture you come from.
