I think we NEED both Gibbs and Saunders back next year for any chance of success. They are smart, humble people who will get this thing worked out.

Gregg Williams, on the contrary, needs to show two things (if he deserves to be back next season):

1. He hasn't lost the unit.
2. He can produce results with the players HE brought in.

This can be shown through significant improvement the next 4 weeks. If they finish ranked 28 or below...we really are better off firing him and gutting the thing. We can not afford to suffer through another rough defensive year in 07, and be forced to makes cut in 08, we need to make the cuts THIS offseason if we are not going to compete for a title next year.
