Last year we were hurried more than any team in the NFL according to the Pro Football Prospectus.

Washington's interior linemen are big fans of holding. Center Casey Rabach was second in the league with eight holding penalties. Guard Derrick Dockery was right behind him with seven. All that holding didn't help the line keep the pass rush away from Mark Brunell; game charters marked Brunell with a hurried pass 128 times, the highest total in the league. The entire line, however, did an exceptional job at avoiding false starts. Washington's five starters were called for a false start only eight times all year. That's just two more than Santana Moss and Chris Cooley combined, and two fewer than Luke Petitigout all by himself.

Washington's run blocking improved substancially from 2004 to 2005. Some of that can be attributed to a full season from Jon Jansen, but a lot of the credit has to go to Washington's tight ends, H-backs, and fullbacks. The Redskins used a multiple TE formation on 47% of their offensive plays and ran out of that formation 58% of the time.
