The Texans may be thinking about pursuing Portis, but as soon as they initiate discussions with Gibbs they'll realize he's not for sale.

Gibbs will NEVER trade Portis. No way, no how. First off, he LOVES Portis. Secondly, we'd have to take a big salary cap hit to trade one of our best players. Not gonna happen.

I love idiotic trade rumors that don't give consideration to the salary cap. It's the #1 way to tell if a rumor is just that.
