Seriously, this board is so crammed with the same "D sucks"/"JC looks promising"/"Where's Lloyd?" threads, you really can't slam someone for introducing a
new topic every now and then, even if it isn't something that has much, if any, chance of happening. At least this question is based on an actual news report, as unsubstantiated as it might be.
These threads happen, and sometimes (like here) there
is a legitimate question buried in there if you dig - he's essentially asking, what kind of compensation is required to get a team to sign away its franchise player? It's worth discussing, even if it is a relatively short answer (I'm sticking by a starting player + first rounder).
However, like I said, I agree there is no chance Portis is going anywhere.
