Yeah, but Grossman plays on a remarkable team, and is the weak link if anything. They win in spite of him. Young plays on a team that was supposed to be rebuilding, that jettisoned its core for salary cap reasons, and that was expected to maybe win 5 or 6 games. Not only has he inspired them to rally around him, he has been able to single handedly take over games in the fourth quarter. Of course the LT has to block and the receiver has to catch the ball, and if your D can put up 21 that helps too, but there is a certain intangible element to Young's play that stats can't quantify, but wins and losses can. This has been evinced multiple times this year, particularly in the fourth quarter. Can anyone really argue with me, that Young's completion percentage doesn't tell the whole story? How good he ends up being remains to be seen, but he has that certain something - a kind of demeanor - that great winners in every sport seem to have. I for one am glad to be watching.
