It takes QBs a while to learn. Here's a little food for thought: over our first 10 games, with Saunders free to run his offense how he saw fit, we scored 18 points per game. With Gibbs reasserting himself over the last six games, calling a more conservative gameplan with more power running and max protection, we scored 21 points per game. It's really hard to argue we're better off with Saunders' method, especially with our offensive personnel.

Yes I'm serious. It would be different if he played at Air Force. But he ran pro style offenses, and that makes him more ready for the NFL game. So you mean to tell me that sending out three guys on let's say 30 pass plays a game is a good NFL passing game plan??? If you think that's going to get it done in today's NFL then send me some of the Kool Aid your drinking. And don't give me that 3 point difference BS. It was a struggle to get 200 yards passing. The power running game is nice but you can't try and run everybody over all the time. The bottom line is we need more out of the passing game. I hope Charles Johnson is sitting there at the 6th pick.
