I think that might just make places like McD's advertise that their jobs are NOT available for high school grads, so that they could save money. Harder jobs tend to pay more anyways... around my area, even the McDonald's pay $7-9 an hour for entry level workers. I was thinking the same thing that I do not even know of any place paying min. wage. My daughters summer time jobs have paid from $7.00 to 9.00 and even baby siters are getting that for sitting around your home and eating all your food.
