True dat. Caffeine and sugar are two of the most addictive legal substances in consumption today. Not to mention alcohol and nicotine.
For the doubters (i.e. hess), pot is not a physical addition. This has been proven. There are absolutely no dangers of withdrawl. Pot is NOT addictive, it's habit forming -- there is a world of a difference. Pot is no more addictive than tapping your foot (you know, those people who can't stop shaking their leg). I know this because I have been a daily smoker for many years, and I have quit cold-turkey on several occasions with absolutely no issues.
The beef I've got with people supporting the illegalization of pot is that they think they have the right to control OTHER people's lives. Who are you to say that I can't do something to my OWN body? And, even if something
is addictive, that doesn't give you the right to force people to abstain, against their will. Do you get to decide what I can and can't be addicted to? It's called personal freedom, and I believe it's an inalienable right.
