I don't think Gaines Adams can be blocked one on one in obvious passing situations which would free Carter up on the other side and solve a lot of what ails our defense right now. The only question in my mind is can he stop the run well enough to play every down. If not, we should look at either taking Quinten Moses from Georgia or trading down for more picks. Moses got more pub at Georgia than Golston ever did and Golston is a beast. I think that DE is the one position that if upgraded can make all the other defenders look a lot better. The secondary doesn't have to cover as long and can take more chances. The linebackers can roam more freely. Most importantly, opposing offenses have to fear 3rd and 6+ which will make them more conservative and easier to defend.
